Regent Seven Seas Cruises

Regent Seven Seas Cruises offers ultra-luxury cruise vacations for disabled guests that are ‘upscale but not uptight.’ Their three ships – the Seven Seas Voyager, Seven Seas Mariner and Seven Seas Navigator – travel to more than 300 ports on all seven continents and provide unique programs of exploration and discovery. Their all-inclusive fares include roundtrip air, ground transfers, shore excursions, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and more. As the vessels are designed for hundreds, rather than thousands of guests, the ambiance onboard is personal, individual and accommodating – especially for individuals with special needs.

All three of Regent’s ships have accessible staterooms for passengers who cruise with a wheelchair. Seven Seas Mariner offers six accessible cabin suites; the Voyager and Navigator offer four, two of which are the highly desired Penthouse suites. As the ships do not have many accessible suites, it is highly advised to book vacations for disabled passengers early to reserve them. The staterooms are equipped with lowered closet rods and shelves. The bathrooms have a roll-in shower, grab bars, a lowered sink, a fold down shower stool, a handheld showerhead, a toilet seat riser and ramped thresholds. 

The ships themselves are accessible for passengers to travel with wheelchairs – space to enable 180 degree turns for wheelchairs and scooter mobility; automatic doors; public rooms with gradual inclines; accessible gaming tables; accessible seating for the shows; and accessible seating in the main dining hall. 

For guests who are deaf or have hearing impairments, upon request, Regent Seven Seas provides guests with a portable room kit alerting for door knocking, phone ringing and smoke and assistance devices in the lounge. Rooms are also equipped with a closed captioned TV and TTY text phone. For guests who are blind or have a visual impairment, the elevators and room numbers are in Braille and menus and daily itineraries will also be provided upon request. 

Regent Seven Seas requests that travel agents or direct passengers advise the Reservations Department of any special need at the time of booking, but no later than 90 days prior to sailing.
