Copenhagen is the capital and most populous city in Denmark. It is the governmental, cultural, and economic hub of the country. The city has many bridges, parks, promenades, and waterfronts, along with restaurants, museums, and nightclubs. Copenhagen happens to be one of the most bicycle-friendly cities in the world. The city also serves about 2 million passengers at Copenhagen Airport monthly, and also has the largest Danish seaport, the Port of Copenhagen. 

       

     

Tivoli or Tivoli Gardens is an amusement park and garden. It is the second oldest and most popular seasonal amusement park in the world. They serve over 4.6 million visitors yearly. It is conveniently located in downtown Copenhagen. 

     

     

In the center of Copenhagen, you will find City Hall Square. Due to its location, size, and affiliation with the City Hall, it is a popular venue for events and celebrations. City Hall Square is often used as the central point for measuring distances from Copenhagen. Along with the City Hall, there are other major buildings around like the Politikens Hus, the headquarters of the national daily newspaper Politiken.
