Santorini, Greece




Santorini is one of the Cyclades Islands in the Aegean Sea. The island is still an active volcano and came into existence due to volcanic eruptions. Santorini is considered one of the most romantic getaway destinations in Greece, along with it being a wedding destination for locals and tourists around the world. The island is known for its culinary treats like wines and desserts, and its clear waters.



Santo Wines is a modern winery overlooking the caldera and cliffs of Santorini. They make and sell different wines like white wine, red wine, and sparkling. They also house a restaurant offering snacks, entrees, and desserts. The winery is wheelchair accessible to many parts of the location as well. You can find other wineries like Venetsanos Winery, Gavalas Winery, and Domaine Sigalas.


The Catholic Church of Koimisi Tus Theotokou, or better known as the Three Bells of Fira, is a Greek catholic church on the island. It is an iconic landmark known for the three bells, blue dome, and amazing view. 



       The island of Santorini has many museums and historic locations. Once museum that you can find artifacts from the beginning of the 3rd millennium BC to the Classical Period, is the Archaeological Museum of TheraSome artifacts include pottery and amphorae. Most of the artifacts at the museum comes from the ancient Cemetery of Thera.
