News from Andy’s Desk!

Dear Travel Partners,

I hope everyone is well.  We are looking to close out the third quarter with a successful September.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to those in Texas regarding Hurricane Harvey.  NACTA has joined our efforts in accepting donations to assist those in Texas which will be distributed by our Galveston Port Agent.  Please find his own story as well as shared pictures.

We also wish for the saftey of those in projected path of Hurricane Irma.  Please pray for South Florida.

In addition, please be reminded of our two iPad® tpromotions running concurrently.

November 11th marks our 6-Year Anniversary of the Certified Accessible Travel Advocate Program®.  Presently, we have over 3,400 certified agents.  Please help us in our race to 3,500.  We are seeking to reach our goad by the upcoming anniversary date.

Having just returned from a successful ASTA Global Convention in San Diego, we are on the road again next week.  Special Needs Group will at the CoNEXION Conference in New Orleans from the 16th-19th.

We are pleased to be your partner and truly appreciate your continued support as we expand in Delivering an Accessible World™.

Special Needs Group Galveston Port Agent

Assists Community After Hurricane Harvey

Craig Yager, SNG’s Galveston Port Agent, recently provided aid and is continuing to do so in assisting his local area following the aftermath created by Hurricane Harvey.

Hurricane Harvey made landfall on Friday, August 25th and continued with an incredible amount of rain well into Sunday.  Living on the west side of Houston, Special Needs Group has two different storage locations one in Pasadena and the other in Dickinson.  Although the surrounding area of our Pasadena warehouse was submerged under water, the office as well as equipment was safe.  However, our equipment in Dickinson was at a total loss due to Harvey’s destruction.
