On the east coast of Ireland, you will find Dublin, the capital and largest city in Ireland. Its landscape is bordered by mountains and rivers. A popular tourist attraction in Dublin is the Guiness Storehouselocated at the St. James’s Brewery. In 2000, they opened to the public and has received over 20 million visitors since then. Included in the Storehouse is history on the beer and its founder, interactive exhibits, a gravity bar, and 7 floors of fun and activities. The building also offers wheelchair accessibility to all parts of the attraction. 



The Dublin Castle is another key tourist attraction. It is used as a government center and conference center. It hosts the inauguration for each President of Ireland and many different state ceremonies and receptions. Inside, you will find different State Rooms and galleries, some being the Ladies Drawing Room and St. Patrick’s Hall. They also have a restaurant and garden to enjoy.


The Viking and Medieval times played a huge role in the city of Dublin. For more information, you can visit Dublinia,a historical recreation museum. This museum features historical reenactments with actors and also encourages their guests to partake in the activities. It has many buildings and streets recreated as well. The museum is part of Dublin’s Christ Church Cathedral or known as the Synod Hall.
