SPECIAL NEEDS GROUP EXPANDS SPECIAL NEEDS EQUIPMENT RENTALS TO ORLANDO

Fort Lauderdale, FL – Special Needs Group, Inc., a global provider of special needs equipment for travelers and the travel industry, recently announced that it will expand its special needs equipment rental services to major Orlando locations, including theme parks, hotels, resorts, villas, the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando Science Center and more.

As the preferred mobility and oxygen supplier to Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Carnival and other major cruise lines, Special Needs Group will now deliver the same high-quality, reliable, cost-effective equipment directly to the Orlando theme park, hotel, resort, etc. of the customer’s choice.

Founded in 2007, the Fort Lauderdale-based company will rent special needs equipment such as wheelchairs, scooters, oxygen, hospital beds, baby cribs, and more in the Orlando market.

People with special needs, including the aging baby boomers and ‘slow walkers,’ are the third-largest minority in the U.S.,” said Andrew J. Garnett, president and CEO of Special Needs Group. “Expanding our services in Orlando, one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations, will help many people enjoy the city’s attractions even more.”.

Theme parks which Special Needs Group will service include Disney World locations, Universal Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, and other major Orlando area theme parks.

Special Needs Group is a preferred partner benefits supplier for the Cruise Line Industry Association (CLIA), the world’s largest cruise line association, and a corporate sponsor of the Society for Accessible Travel & Hospitality (SATH), an organization dedicated to raising awareness of the needs of all travelers with disabilities.
