Allure of the Seas Accessibility: Big Adventures, Barrier-Free
Special Needs at Sea is proud to support guests cruising aboard Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas — one of the largest and most accessible cruise ships in the world.
At over 1,100 feet long with 16 passenger decks, Allure of the Seas is impressively designed for accessibility. Despite her size, the ship is remarkably easy to navigate for wheelchair users, slow walkers, and guests using scooters — with inclusive accommodations found throughout the vessel.
Accessible Staterooms
The Allure offers 46 wheelchair-accessible staterooms, including:
- Wider stateroom and bathroom doorways
- 5-foot turning radius in all main areas
- Lowered closet rods, safes, and vanity
- Open bed frames for ease of access
- Roll-in showers with grab bars, raised toilets, fold-down shower benches, and handheld showerheads
Of the 46 accessible staterooms, 33 include balconies, and 8 offer Central Park or Boardwalk views. Accessible rooms are available across multiple decks and categories.
Dining, Entertainment & Activity Accessibility
Allure of the Seas features 24 dining and bar venues — all with wheelchair seating. Highlights include:
- Boleros bar: includes a lower service counter for guests in wheelchairs

Boarding & Tendering Assistance
Guests can enjoy early boarding, disembarkation assistance, and wide gangways suitable for scooters and wheelchairs. Allure also offers an accessible route to the tender platform where applicable.
