Coming off the heels of a great Scooting for Charity event at NACTA’s 2013 Annual Convention, I am very pleased to announce that we already have our next event booked! Scooting for Charity will be at Travel Weekly’s Cruise World in Fort Lauderdale in November. Once again we will be donating all proceeds to Camillus House. Please join us for some fun!
In conjunction with Travel Weekly’s Cruise World we will be conducting our 3rd Annual Inner Circle/Advisory Board Meeting of industry luminaries that will help set the course for 2014 initiatives.
I am very proud to say that SNG continues togive back to our community. Last week we donated scooters to four women in need in West Palm Beach. So far we have given away 5 of the 10 scooters that we have designated to give to those in need in the Dade, Broward and West Palm Beach areas. You can see a news clip on our Facebook page.
We want to hear from you! Please send us your success stories. We would love to share them! Send them to agents@specialneedsgroup.com.
Tensi just came back from a fabulous week onboard the Norwegian Breakaway. Look for her take on it in the newsletter.

Scooter/Power Chair Do’s & Don’ts
When we deliver a Scooter or Power Chair to your clients we leave them with a of Do’s & Don’ts and Etiquette flyer to help them enjoy their mobility device safely and share the roads with others. Here are a few of the tips:
Ask for assistance whenever approaching a steep incline.
DON’T attempt to qualify for the "Scooter Daytona 500!" Don’t speed over thresholds/speed bumps as they can ‘bump’ your scooter/power chair off of gear.
Move off a shared path if you have stopped so others can pass.
Travel at a speed that doesn’t endanger others.
You can feel confident that SNG wants your clients to have a memorable vacation that they will have them coming back to you to start planning their next!
Please join us at Travel Weekly’s Cruise World in Fort Lauderdale on November 7th. Scooting for Charity will be set up at the trade show. Come join us at this not to be missed industry event and have some fun! Remember that all proceeds will go to Camillus House.
If you are SNG CATA (Certified Accessible Travel Advocate) remember to wear your pin for a special prize!
